Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Data Governance Lead to manage enterprise data definitions, rules, and standards. You will collaborate with Data Management Groups and governance councils to drive improvements and ensure quality across systems.

The role involves reporting on SLA/KPIs, developing SOPs and checklists with the DQ team, and coaching staff to secure consistent data practices. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
Deep understanding of Data Management and Data Governance Framework.
Knowledge of data rules and business day-to-day data use.
Proven leadership and mentorship abilities to drive new processes.
Pro-active attitude and continuous process improvement mindset.
Strong project management with stakeholder influence skills.
Ability to deliver complex initiatives with drive and motivation.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Data Management Group and Data Governance council to maintain enterprise data definitions, rules and standards.
Identify business processes affecting data management and lead improvement efforts.
Define and report enterprise data governance SLA, KPIs to the governance council.
Create data quality documents such as checklists, process flows and SOPs with DQ Expert.
Interact with Data Owners and Data Quality Expert to review DQ scorecard results.
Improve processes with poor data quality and lead RCA creation to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate with Developers to determine software/app development requirements.
Oversee development, testing and implementation of data management solutions.
Provide data management training and presentations to stakeholders.
Coach Master Data Specialist on data management processes.
Build capability for operational excellence and superior internal customer service.
