Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Data Governance & Risk Lead to strengthen enterprise data governance, AI governance, and risk management capabilities. You will lead frameworks, policies, and processes across the organization while embedding governance into daily operations and promoting data literacy.

Working with Technology, Legal, Security, and Operations, you will drive responsible AI adoption and build a data-driven, risk-aware culture.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on data governance experience with end-to-end lifecycle management.
Expertise in data quality metrics, data stewardship models, and lifecycle handling.
Experience building and maturing enterprise data governance programs and policy execution.
Proven leadership, coaching, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead development and continuous improvement of data, AI, and governance frameworks and standards.
Partner with Business, Technology, Legal, and Transformation teams to ensure compliance and responsible AI.
Own enterprise data risk management framework, controls, and KRIs with governance forums.
Embed governance practices into initiatives and promote data literacy across the organization.
Lead governance working groups and mentor stakeholders to strengthen capabilities.
