Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering to lead the Data Tools team responsible for foundational data infrastructure, governance, and real-time processing across our platform. You will work with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge data solutions in a fast-paced fintech environment.

This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, mentoring a high-performing team, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across data platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with 2+ years in people management.
• Proven expertise in Agile development and project management tools.
• Experience in FinTech or regulated financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Tools engineering team from conception to production.
• Partner with product, data scientists, and business leaders to define scope and deliverables.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Own data governance infrastructure design for metadata management and real-time processing.
• Drive risk mitigation and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
