Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering to lead the Data Tools team responsible for foundational data infrastructure, governance, and real-time processing across our platform.

You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver scalable data solutions, mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure reliability and performance in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
• Ability to design scalable data pipelines.
• Familiarity with governance and real-time processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Data Tools engineering team from conception to production.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business leaders to define scope and deliverables.
• Drive data governance, metadata management, and scalable architecture.
• Promote Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement within the team.
• Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks with transparent communication.
• Coordinate resources and prioritize work across initiatives to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish and enforce data engineering best practices and security protocols.
