Job summary

DWS Group is seeking a Data Engineer focused on Reporting & Analytics in Madrid to maintain and optimise the SIMS reporting landscape and supporting its modernisation journey. You will work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions and help migrate Cognos reports to Tableau or other BI tools.

The role involves building data pipelines, enhancing datasets, and contributing to a cloud data platform evolution with Snowflake/BigQuery.

Qualifications

• Experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred).
• Strong understanding of data models and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools including Tableau; Cognos desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new reporting requirements for the SIMS application.
• Translate stakeholder reporting needs into scalable solutions.
• Maintain and optimise SIMS reporting landscape, datasets, queries, and performance.
• Migrate reports from legacy BI tooling to Tableau and modern tools.
• Build and enhance data pipelines and analytical data structures for KPIs.
