Job summary

OneOcean is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain data ingestion, transformation and modelling pipelines across the analytics landscape. You will enable timely decision-making for internal stakeholders and customers while redesigning data and reporting approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for high-volume data.
• Strong data modelling and dimensional modelling knowledge.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure, plus Python/PySpark.
• CI/CD and source control, e.g. Jenkins, Liquibase, Bitbucket.
• Experience with BI/visualisation tools such as Power BI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data pipeline architecture from multiple sources.
• Assemble large, complex data sets meeting business requirements.
• Automate data delivery and optimise infrastructure for scalability.
• Develop data warehousing models and pipelines for storage/retrieval.
• Ensure data validation, security and accuracy for reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and train team members as needed.
