Job summary

Sharesource is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and modern cloud tools. You will also support BI needs by maintaining visualizations and reports in ThoughtSpot (or similar BI platform) and work alongside the Lead Data Engineer for architectural guidance.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of Data Engineer experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Data Engineer
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks or similar
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing
• Experience with ThoughtSpot/Power BI/Tableau/Looker
• Version control with Git
• Able to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
• Willing to work in Philippines time zone and participate in occasional onsite activities

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks
• Design data lake and data warehouse architecture
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
• Collaborate with Lead Data Engineer on modeling and cloud infra
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging for data pipelines
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team rituals
• Maintain dashboards and reports in ThoughtSpot
• Assist stakeholders with ad hoc data queries and visualizations
• Ensure availability and accuracy of key metrics during analyst leave
• Translate datasets into decision-support insights
