Job summary

Sharesource in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, plus BI support in ThoughtSpot or similar tools. You will work with our Lead Data Engineer on data transformation initiatives, focusing on data quality, reliability, and usability across the stack.

This role requires at least 3 years of data engineering experience, proficiency in Python and SQL, and familiarity with BI tools such as ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Tableau,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks or similar platforms
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analysis
• Deep understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with BI tools such as ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Good version control and collaboration practices using Git
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Manila Time)

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks
• Contribute to data lake and data warehouse architecture design
• Translate business requirements into reliable data solutions
• Collaborate with Lead Data Engineer on data modeling and cloud infra best practices
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging for data pipelines
• Participate in sprints, code reviews, and documentation
• Maintain and support dashboards and reports in ThoughtSpot
• Assist stakeholders with ad hoc data queries and visualizations
