Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited seeks a Technical Lead / Director to provide technical leadership for ICT, telecommunications, networking, security, and controls across APAC data centre projects. You will coordinate with network architects and design teams to translate requirements into standardised products and layouts, ensuring scalable, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related discipline; professional certifications preferred.
• 15+ years in ICT, telecoms, networking, or low-voltage systems for critical infrastructure; data centre experience highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber networks, rack configurations, cable containment, and network resiliency.
• Experience integrating ICT with MEP, controls, and security disciplines; understanding converged OT/IT architectures.
• Familiarity with standards such as TIA, BICSI, ISO, and IEC.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, and ACC/BIM 360 workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to manage multiple deliverables under schedule pressure.
• Full fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for ICT, telecommunications, networking, security, and controls infrastructure across data centre projects.
• Lead development of standardised telecoms infrastructure solutions with adequate capacity, scalability, and reliability.
• Review network architectures, pathways, fiber distribution strategies, and equipment integration for client projects.
• Review ICT, networking, controls, and security designs for compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Drive best practices for converged networks across mechanical, electrical, controls, security, and telecoms systems.
• Act as escalation point for local regulations or site conditions and balance global standards with local needs.
• Identify integration and coordination risks early and recommend practical mitigation solutions.
• Contribute to QA/QC standards, design guidelines, and review processes; support standardisation, value engineering, and operational improvements.
