Job summary

Capgemini Philippines Corp. is seeking a Network Engineer to ensure delivery for incident recovery, network changes and adherence to configuration standards.

The role emphasizes Cisco IOS and Nexus expertise, load-balancing, and collaboration with Operations Engineering and suppliers. The candidate will review engineering standards and develop tactical plans to meet technical requirements, participate in major incidents, and support or oversee changes and new technologies within the environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years' progressive data communications experience in WAN/MAN/LAN/Data Center operational support.
• Experience in day-to-day support of enterprise-scale, complex network environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF and load-balancers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Network Operations Strategy development and align with organizational strategies.
• Ensure availability levels and validate service designs meet operational needs.
• Coordinate with service providers to ensure technical acumen and quality in contracted services.
• Develop and evolve operational procedures and document existing processes.
