Job summary

TalentVibe Business Consultancy seeks an experienced Data Center & IT Infrastructure Project Manager to deliver complex data center and IT infra projects in Singapore. You will lead end-to-end initiatives, coordinate with customers, contractors, and vendors to ensure readiness and successful deployment.

The role requires 8+ years in PM within data centers or IT infra, proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, schedules, risks, and critical paths, plus strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

Data Center & IT Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Data Center & IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support the delivery of complex data center and IT infrastructure projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across data center new builds, expansions, retrofits, IT infrastructure deployments, M&E infrastructure, commissioning, migration, and technology readiness. This role will work closely with technical teams, customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that IT infrastructure is delivered in alignment with physical data center readiness. The role requires a strong technical understanding of data center environments, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a complex delivery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end project management for data center and IT infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
• Establish project governance, KPIs, reporting structures, RAID logs, and communication plans.
• Track project progress against agreed timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
• Manage delivery activities associated with data center new builds, expansions, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Coordinate IT infrastructure deployment including servers, storage, network infrastructure, virtualization, racks and cabinets, structured cabling, power and cooling infrastructure.
• Manage or support data center migration and relocation initiatives.
• Coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) infrastructure projects.
• Act as the key project coordination point between WWT, customers, technology teams, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.

About you

• 8+ years of project management experience, preferably within data centers, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience delivering data center builds, expansions, retrofits, migrations, or major infrastructure deployments.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across IT, networking, facilities, M&E, construction, and vendors.
• Experience with data center commissioning and project readiness activities.
• Experience managing complex schedules, dependencies, risks, and critical paths.
• Strong project management and delivery leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of data center infrastructure and IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, racks, cabling, and structured cabling systems.
• Understanding of server, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
