Job summary

TITANICOM TECH LIMITED is seeking an Automation Engineer to support operation, deployment and optimization of BMS/EMS/EPMS and PLC-based control systems for overseas data centers.

Candidate should have 5+ years in data center operations or related roles with strong PLC skills and experience in Modbus/BACnet/SNMP/MQTT protocols, plus Mandarin + English or English + local language. This role requires on-site coordination and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Computer Science or related fields.
• 5+ years of working experience including at least 3 years in data center operations, automation control, quality engineering or related roles.
• Strong PLC knowledge and hands-on experience including PLC programming/configuration, control logic, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with automation system architecture and BMS/EPMS/EMS/SCADA systems and related electrical/HVAC/weak current systems.
• Familiar with Modbus, BACnet, SNMP and MQTT protocols.
• Capable of system deployment, commissioning, operation, optimization and strategy configuration.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and on-site technical support capability.
• Good communication and coordination skills with strong execution and responsibility.
• Language requirement: Mandarin + English or English + local language.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation, maintenance and reliability improvement of BMS, EPMS, EMS and automation systems in overseas data centers.
• Work with local FM/FE teams on CMDB topology, data point survey, data integration, inspection and continuous updates.
• Support EMS data point management, alarm optimization, EOP linkage strategy and related drill preparation.
• Review and optimize control logic for electrical, HVAC and weak current systems, including PLC/DDC control logic.
• Support on-site system deployment, PLC/system configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, expansion and function optimization.
• Coordinate vendors during on-site changes and commissioning to ensure monitoring quality, control logic and data center operations are not affected.

4. Familiar with automation system architecture and BMS / EPMS / EMS systems, as well as electrical, HVAC or weak current systems.

5. Familiar with communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, SNMP and MQTT.

6. Capable of system deployment, commissioning, operation, optimization and strategy configuration.

7. Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and on-site technical support capability.

8. Good communication and coordination skills, with strong execution and responsibility.

9. Language requirement: Mandarin + English or English + local language.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in data centers, critical facilities, industrial automation, building automation, system integration, BMS / EMS / EPMS / SCADA projects is preferred.

Experience in data integration, interface debugging, protocol configuration and system optimization is a plus.
