Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines Inc. is seeking a Plant Engineer - Automation to provide specialist technical support, diagnostics, and maintenance for the plant's automation system, including PLC and SCADA.

You will troubleshoot and calibrate inspection and coding equipment, update documentation and backups, and assist in budgeting for Capex upgrades and technology changes. A degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics and knowledge of automation safety practices are required;

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Knowledgeable on automation and electrical safety practices and standards.
• Basic knowledge on project management.
• Preferably registered Master Electrician or Electronics Technician or Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical support, diagnostics and corrective action recommendations for PLC & SCADA.
• Perform automation maintenance and calibration on inspection and coding equipment (ASEBI, Fill Height Inspection System, Date Coder, Bar Coder).
• Troubleshoot instruments and update PLC/SCADA programs and related drawings/backups.
• Assist to consolidate and manage the maintenance resource budget.
• Assess and recommend replacements or upgrades for yearly Capex budgets.

Job description

The Plant Engineer - Automation is responsible in providing specialist technical support and diagnostics for the Plant’s automation system. The role is also responsible for the troubleshooting and execution of maintenance either preventive or corrective for the Plant’s automation system.

• Provide specialist technical support, diagnostics and corrective action recommendation for the Plant automation system: PLC & SCADA
• Performs specialized automation and calibration related maintenance on inspection and coding equipment such as: ASEBI, Fill Height Inspection System, Date Coder and Bar Coder.
• Execute maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of instruments: digital temperature, pressure and flow transmitters and others used in the Plant
• Execute changes to PLC and SCADA programs and is responsible for the updating of documentation and back-ups regarding these changes of parameters and drawings
• Assist to consolidate and manage the maintenance resource budget
• Assess and recommends replacement (if needed) of equipment and or upgrades for the yearly Capex budgets
• Manage equipment upgrades and technological changes

Position Requirements:

• Graduate of Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or any related Technology & Engineering field
• Knowledgeable on Automation and Electrical safety practices and standards
