Job summary

Sun Life, a leading life insurance and investments company, seeks an experienced Business Lead to drive a Data Lakehouse backbone for Client and Marketing across lines of business. You will manage squads of technical and business professionals, translating requirements into a tangible roadmap and delivering analytics-driven products that boost client experience and marketing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in data-driven projects.
• Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience in Life Insurance and Investments industry is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing and deploying data analytics solutions in the Client Experience and Marketing domain.
• Proven track record of successful product delivery in Agile, Lean Incremental, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Backbone Client & Marketing workstream and translate vision into an executable roadmap.
• Partner with the Product Manager to detail product vision and align with business strategy.
• Translate business requirements into actionable backlog items and user stories.
• Prioritize features and capabilities to meet user needs and org goals.
• Guide both business and technical teams and unblock challenges to ensure delivery.
• Define and track OKRs for the product workstream and monitor adoption and value realization.
