New Personnel Builders and Consultancy Services Inc. seeks a proactive Customs and Logistics Operations Officer to coordinate import/export clearance, trucking and vendor tasks.

You will monitor compliance, liaise with brokers and agencies, manage documentation, and provide timely status updates across shipments.

This role emphasizes accuracy, record-keeping, and proactive problem solving to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customs clearance activities for import and export shipments.
• Review shipping and commercial documents for completeness and compliance.
• Monitor customs declaration filing, assessment, examination, and cargo release status.
• Liaise with brokers, customs representatives, PEZA authorities, and other government agencies.
• Ensure timely submission of documents required for clearance.
• Monitor compliance with BOC, PEZA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Escalate shipment delays, customs issues, and compliance risks proactively.
• Support post-entry activities including amendments, refunds, and documentation retrieval.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of customs transactions.
• Plan and coordinate trucking requirements for import, export, and domestic cargo movements.
• Arrange transport bookings and dispatch activities with accredited trucking providers.
• Monitor truck arrivals, cargo pickups, deliveries, and return of equipment.
• Manage delivery appointments with customers, warehouses, depots, and terminals.
• Track shipment milestones and provide proactive status updates.
• Coordinate exception management including truck breakdowns, port congestion, vessel delays, and empty return issues.
• Ensure compliance with transportation safety and operational requirements.
• Coordinate daily operational activities with trucking vendors, brokers, warehouses, shipping lines, and terminal operators.
• Support vendor performance monitoring against agreed service levels.
• Facilitate issue resolution and corrective actions with service providers.
• Build effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate operational trackers and shipment monitoring tools.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators including: On-time clearance, On-time delivery, Customs compliance, Shipment visibility, Exception management.
• Support billing validation, cost reconciliation, and operational audits
