Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain brokerage entries to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
  • Review and determine tariff classification of imported goods based on CMTA, ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN), and Bureau of Customs rules.
  • Verify accuracy of declared tariff classifications and supporting import documents prior to processing entries.
  • Follow up with appropriate departments or personnel regarding status of pending customs assessments.
  • Track customs assessments from submission to final assessment and clearance.
  • Update monitoring logs, reports, and trackers with accurate information.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to complete pending requirements.
  • Escalate delayed or unresolved assessments to supervisor or management.
  • Ensure all required customs documents are complete and properly filled.
  • Prepare and submit regular status reports on pending, ongoing, and completed brokerage transactions.
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding status of brokerage entries and customs assessments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, shipment, and company information.
  • Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Job description

The Brokerage Representative is responsible for monitoring brokerage entries, reviewing tariff classifications, coordinating with internal teams and concerned parties to ensure the timely processing of customs assessments, and tracking the completion of all required documentation. The role ensures accurate record-keeping, compliance with customs laws and regulations, and the timely follow-up of pending assessments to facilitate the efficient clearance of shipments.

Job Description:
  • Monitor and maintain brokerage entries to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and processed.

  • Review and determine the appropriate tariff classification of imported goods based on the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA), the ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN), and applicable Bureau of Customs (BOC) rules and regulations.

  • Verify the accuracy of declared tariff classifications and supporting import documents prior to processing customs entries.

  • Follow up with the appropriate departments or concerned personnel regarding the status of pending customs assessments.

  • Monday - Friday
