Job summary

Delivery and Logistics Company in Taguig City is seeking a Customs & Importation Officer to manage importation processes, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with customs procedures. The role offers a Monday to Friday onsite work setup in BGC, Taguig.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Customs Administration or related field and has hands-on experience with importation of machinery and equipment, as well as interaction with the Bureau of Customs. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Customs, import and export or a related field.
• Hands-on experience handling the importation or shipment of machinery and equipment, such as conveyors.
• With direct experience in coordinating with the Bureau of Customs (BOC).
• Has experience with customs processes, importation procedures, and documentation.
• Amenable to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests and process purchase orders based on inventory and operational needs.
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers regarding orders, pricing, shipments, and deliveries.
• Negotiate prices and payment terms while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage importation processes, including HS code classification, customs duties, and compliance requirements.
• Review shipping documents and coordinate with customs brokers for smooth clearance and delivery.
• Monitor import permits, licenses, and customs documentation to ensure compliance.
