Blue Pacific Global Inc. is seeking a Shipping Documents Specialist in Manila to prepare and process essential shipping documents for international freight, with emphasis on e-Manifests (eTrade / VASP), HBLs, and Master BLs.

You will coordinate air and sea shipments for import/export, liaise with local clients, shipping lines, and overseas agents, and ensure compliance with BOC/PEZA rules while handling billing audits.

Formación

• Graduate degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of solid experience in international freight forwarding handling both sea and air import/export operations.
• Proficient in electronic lodgments and manifest systems (eTrade / VASP), carrier portals, and MS Office.
• Strong multi-tasking and high attention to detail in document encoding.
• Good understanding of customs duties and taxes and excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, encode, and process essential shipping documents with focus on e-Manifests, HBLs, Master BLs, pre-alerts, and shipping instructions.
• Coordinate, book, and track international air and sea freight shipments for import and export operations.
• Serve as the main contact for local clients, shipping lines, and overseas agents with timely tracking updates and POD.
• Work with customs brokers to monitor clearance, verify tariff classifications, and resolve hold/discrepancy notices promptly.
• Ensure adherence to BOC/PEZA rules.
• Review and audit billing invoices from forwarding agents and carriers; prepare accurate operational billing for clients.

About the role

This role focuses on the preparation, encoding, and processing of essential shipping documents with heavy emphasis on Electronic Cargo Manifests (e-Manifests via eTrade / VASP systems), House Bills of Lading (HBL), Master BLs, pre-alerts, and shipping instructions. You will coordinate, book, and track international air and sea freight shipments for both import and export operations, serving as the main point of contact for local clients, shipping lines, and overseas agents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, encode, and process essential shipping documents with focus on Electronic Cargo Manifests (e-Manifests via eTrade / VASP systems), House Bills of Lading (HBL), Master BLs, pre-alerts, and shipping instructions

• Coordinate, book, and track international air and sea freight shipments for both import and export operations

• Serve as the main point of contact for local clients, shipping lines, and overseas agents, providing timely tracking updates and Proof of Delivery (POD)

• Work closely with customs brokers to monitor clearance progress, verify tariff classifications, and resolve hold/discrepancy notices promptly

• Ensure adherence to BOC/PEZA rules

• Review and audit billing invoices from forwarding agents, carriers, and brokers

• Prepare accurate operational billing for clients

About you

• Graduate of BS Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field

• 3 to 5 years of solid experience in international freight forwarding handling both sea and air import/export operations

• Proficient in electronic lodgments and manifest systems (eTrade / VASP systems, BOC e2m), carrier portals, and MS Office (Excel/Word)

• Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment

• High attention to detail in document encoding

• Good understanding of customs duties and taxes

• Excellent communication skills for local and international coordination

• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is a significant advantage
