Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls professionally and courteously, addressing enquiries and resolving issues efficiently
• Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies to customers
• Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records in the system for quality assurance and future reference
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and resolve concerns to the best of your ability within company guidelines
• Process customer requests, including account updates, order modifications, and service changes
• Meet or exceed performance metrics including call handling time, customer satisfaction ratings, and attendance targets
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify improvements and best practices
• Follow company protocols and compliance requirements consistently throughout your shiftEscalate complex issues to senior staff or management when necessary

What we’re looking for

• Excellent communication skills with a clear, professional phone manner and ability to articulate information effectively
• Strong listening skills and empathy to understand customer needs and concerns
• Proven customer service experience in a call centre or similar fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple calls whilst maintaining composure and patience
• Proficiency with computer systems and call centre software; typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is advantageous
