Job summary

Aroya Cruises is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper in managing onboard housekeeping functions. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across all areas, including guest staterooms, crew cabins, and public spaces.

You will lead the housekeeping team, conduct training, document operations, and coordinate with departments to uphold safety and service standards on a 6 months on/2 months off rotation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in progressive housekeeping roles in cruise industry, with supervisory experience.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills in a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping operations on board, including guest staterooms, public areas, and laundry.
• Ensure cleaning standards, SOPs, and health regulations are met across all areas.
• Lead, train, and coach Housekeeping Supervisors and crew; conduct regular briefings.
• Monitor inventory, cost control, and budget compliance; report trends.
• Address guest feedback promptly; drive service recovery and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Technical Department for timely maintenance and safety compliance.
