Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field and clinical background.
• 5+ years combined experience in patient care or case management.
• Proficiency in medical billing procedures and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with crew members, next of kin, medical providers, and stakeholders from disembark to return on vessel.
• Liaise between shipboard medical teams and shore-side providers to arrange appointments and reviews.
• Act as healthcare advocate for medically disembarked crew and manage return-to-work decisions.
• Coordinate medical transfers (air, ground, or medical escorts) and ensure timeliness of care.
• Assess fitness-to-work status per statutory and company standards, minimizing sick time.
• Collaborate with Crew Care, Travel Teams, and Assistance Companies to meet basic crew needs while offshore.
• Ensure compliance with immigration, customs, and hospital requirements; review medical invoices.
