Job summary

Vismotor Corporation is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Credit in Talamban, Cebu City. You will oversee credit assessment, monitor exposures, and collaborate with business units to support growth while controlling risk.

The role requires strong credit analysis, underwriting, and leadership skills to drive portfolio quality and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, credit risk management, or underwriting.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate credit applications to ensure compliance with company credit policies and risk standards.
• Monitor portfolio quality, credit exposures, and risk indicators to minimize defaults and bad debts.
• Conduct credit analysis and recommend appropriate credit decisions and limits.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of credit applications and approvals.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of credit policies and procedures.
• Analyze credit trends and portfolio performance to provide risk management recommendations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Collection teams to ensure effective credit management.
• Prepare credit reports, portfolio analysis, and management dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Lead and develop the credit team to achieve operational and business objectives.
