Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc is seeking an experienced Credit Officer to support our Australian finance brokerage. This role requires prior Australian credit experience, strong English communication, and the ability to assess and structure finance applications for submission to lenders.

You will work with onshore and offshore teams, evaluating Australian bank statements, payslips, tax returns and credit reports, and you will liaise directly with Australian clients to obtain missing information and

Finapps Asset Finance is seeking an experienced Credit Officer to support our Australian finance brokerage.

This is not an entry-level administration role. We are looking for someone who has previously worked within the Australian finance industry and can confidently assess finance applications, communicate directly with Australian clients, identify credit issues and assist with structuring applications.

You will become an integral part of our operations, working closely with our onshore and offshore team, lenders and clients to ensure finance applications are processed quickly, accurately and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit AssessmentReview Australian finance applications for completeness and suitability.Analyse Australian bank statements to identify:Income consistencyLiving expensesGambling activityDishonours and arrearsExisting loan commitmentsCash flow issuesUndisclosed liabilitiesOther lending risksAssess Australian payslips and employment information.Review personal and business tax returns.Interpret Equifax and other Australian credit reports.Identify potential credit concerns before submission to lenders.Escalate complex lending scenarios where required.Client CommunicationSpeak directly with Australian clients by phone.Explain outstanding requirements clearly and professionally.Obtain supporting documentation.Build rapport and maintain a high level of customer service.Follow up applications efficiently to minimise turnaround times.Deal ManagementPrepare finance applications for submission.Assist with lender selection based on policy.Structure applications to maximise approval outcomes.Liaise with onshore management team for escalation where requiredMaintain accurate CRM notes and application records.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous Australian Personal Loan or Asset Finance experience (essential).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Confidence speaking with Australian customers over the phone.
• Ability to identify issues within:
  • Australian bank statements
  • Australian payslips
  • Australian tax returns
  • Equifax credit reports
• Strong understanding of responsible lending principles.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.

Technology Requirements

We're a technology-driven business. The successful applicant must be comfortable working across multiple systems while maintaining speed and accuracy.

• CRM systems
• Loan origination platforms
• Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel)
• Document management systems
• Multiple lender portals

The ability to quickly learn new software is essential.
