Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure adherence to credit terms.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding debts via reminders, calls, and statements.
• Record, track, and reconcile payments against customer accounts.
• Prepare AR Ageing and collection reports for management review.
• Generate monthly reports for customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and handle billing inquiries.
• Follow supervisor instructions and escalate when deviations occur.

Your Role:

As an Accounts Receivable - Credit Controller, you will:

• Monitor customer accounts consistently to ensure strict adherence to established credit terms.
• Follow up proactively on outstanding debts through reminders, phone calls, and monthly statements.
• Record, track, and accurately reconcile incoming payments against customer accounts.
• Prepare comprehensive AR Ageing and collection reports for management review.
• Generate and compile monthly reports for timely submission to relevant customers.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and handle billing or collection inquiries efficiently.
• Receive and follow instructions for additional tasks from your supervisor, while possessing the confidence to elevate and ask questions—especially when asked to deviate from standard processes.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in any Accounting-related course.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (Business English Proficiency required).
• Keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, foundational finance knowledge, and effective organizational skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
• Confidence to speak up, ask questions, and elevate anomalies when requested to deviate from standard procedures.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Preferably with 1 to 3 years of credit control and collections experience, ideally covering multiple countries.
• High level of computer literacy, specifically proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge and experience using financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a major plus, but not required).
• Showcasing a positive attitude and the capability to build strong professional stakeholder relationships.
