Job summary

MicroSourcing in Eastwood, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines is seeking a Credit Analyst to support accounts receivable operations. The role reports to the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer and focuses on accurate payment allocation and data integrity.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid, day-shift environment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Capacity to work under pressure and reliably meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Extract bank statements and allocate payments to invoices in the accounting system.
• Review remittance advice and verify payment details.
• Resolve discrepancies or unapplied payments with customers or internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of payment allocations and adjustments.
• Generate reports on payment allocation status and unapplied cash.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards during allocation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing related to accounts receivable.
• Identify and suggest process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
• Manage Dropbox and distribute relevant emails to the team.

Your Role

We are currently seeking Credit Analyst with a positive attitude to join our friendly and dynamic Finance Department. Reporting to the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for payment allocation of accounts receivable in a high volume and fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Extracting bank statement and allocating incoming customer payments accurately to the corresponding invoices or accounts in the accounting system to ensure that payments are properly recorded and reflected.
• Review and verify payment details such as remittance advice, payment amounts, and customer information.
• Resolve discrepancies or unapplied payments by investigating and communicating with customers or internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of all payment allocations and adjustments.
• Generate regular reports on payment allocation status and unapplied cash
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards during allocation and reconciliation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payment allocation.
• Ad hoc projects as require
• Managing Dropbox on regular basis and distribution of e-mails to relevant team members
