Job summary

DP World in the Philippines seeks a Crane Maintenance Manager to oversee the QC and RTG crane departments, driving shift management, reliability, and safe operations. You will lead maintenance strategies, coordinate with planning and materials teams, and ensure high equipment availability while minimizing downtime across quay cranes and RTGs.

The role requires a licensed mechanical or electrical engineer with at least 5 years in STS/RTG crane maintenance, PLC knowledge, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Licensed mechanical or electrical engineer
• 5+ years in STS/RTG crane maintenance and reliability
• Knowledge of PLC, motors and drives
• Leadership skills and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Act as manager for QC and RTG maintenance/repair activities.
• Plan and control operating budget for equipment and activities.
• Ensure timely corrective actions from condition monitoring and defects.
• Coordinate with Planning and Materials Management for spare parts availability.
• Delegate work orders, assign manpower, monitor execution including contractors.
• Coordinate with Planning on planned work orders and ensure preventive maintenance quality.
• Ensure information is captured in Mainpac upon job completion.
• Provide technical advice and assist when required.
• Manage manpower through scheduling and leave planning.
• Evaluate defects to prioritize risk of equipment failure.
• Prioritize high-risk defects with Planning.
• Ensure manpower allocation for critical jobs.
• Prepare requisitions for spare parts with specs from manuals.
• Assist in standardizing stocking item naming conventions.
