Job summary

DP World in the Philippines seeks a Crane Maintenance Manager to oversee the Quay Cranes and RTGs, focusing on shift management, safety, and availability. You will drive maintenance excellence, coordinate with Planning and Materials, and steer corrective actions to minimize downtime.

The role demands five years of STS/RTG crane experience, an engineering license, and strong leadership. You will manage budgets, ensure inventory readiness, and provide technical guidance across the department.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of STS and RTG crane maintenance experience in port operations.
• Proven leadership and shift planning abilities for maintenance teams.
• Solid knowledge of PLCs, motors and drives, and spare parts management.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager for QC and RTG maintenance and sustaining activities.
• Plan and control the operating budget for equipment and related activities.
• Ensure timely corrective actions from condition monitoring and defects.
• Maintain inventory parts and workshop tools through coordination with Planning and Materials.
• Delegate work orders, assign manpower, and monitor execution including contractor work.
• Coordinate with Planning on planned shift work orders and ensure preventive maintenance quality.
• Review completed work orders with detailed breakdowns and encode data correctly.
• Provide technical advice and assistance as required.
• Manage manpower availability and leaves; schedule critical work as needed.
• Prioritize defects by risk and coordinate with Planning for high priority fixes.
• Ensure proper manpower allocation for critical jobs and requisition spare parts.
