Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead shift-based maintenance for heavy equipment, cranes, and port operations. You will allocate manpower, monitor work orders, and ensure timely execution.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Significant experience in maintenance operations with heavy equipment and cranes.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and shift operations.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance principles.
• Ability to assess equipment risks and prioritize maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift-based maintenance and repair for heavy equipment and crane operations.
• Allocate manpower, assign work orders, and monitor execution for timely completion.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with planning teams.
• Evaluate defects, assess risks, and prioritise critical maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to crews and contractors.
• Review maintenance records and document in the CMMS.
• Drive process excellence and continuous improvement to reliability.
• Assist spare parts planning and procurement reviews.
• Manage scheduling, leave planning, and resource allocation across shifts.
• Promote safety, health, and environmental standards; conduct toolbox talks.
