Job summary

The Philippines market is being developed by a global animal nutrition company seeking a Country Manager to lead the business from Manila.

This hybrid role reports to regional leadership, will manage a sales team, drive growth in poultry and swine, and navigate local regulatory requirements.

Based in Manila with 1 day in the office, you will build relationships with customers and distributors and represent the company locally.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a commercial or sales team in animal nutrition or related fields.
• Strong technical grounding in monogastric/aqua nutrition is a plus.
• Ability to navigate regulatory and documentation requirements in the Philippines.

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading global player in the animal nutrition and feed additives industry, is seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead and grow their business in the Philippines. This is a newly created role, reflecting my clients strategic decision to establish a locally based leader for the market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong technical grounding in animal nutrition to build and shape a market with significant growth potential.

The Role

Reporting into senior regional leadership, the Country Manager will take full ownership of the Philippines business, driving commercial growth, managing an existing sales team, and building the company's presence and network across the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Philippines commercial team, including existing Sales/Account Managers
• Drive business development and commercial growth across monogastric and aqua segments, with a primary focus on poultry and swine
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders across the Philippines
• Manage the significant business documentation and regulatory processes required to operate in the Philippine market
• Represent the company as the local face of the business, building brand presence and market share

About You

• Proven experience in a commercial leadership role within animal nutrition, feed additives, or a closely related industry
• Strong technical understanding of monogastric and/or aqua nutrition; a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) qualification is preferred but not essential
• Established network and relationships within the Philippine animal nutrition/agribusiness market
• Prior experience managing and leading a sales or commercial team
• Comfortable navigating the administrative and regulatory requirements of doing business in the Philippines
• Based in, or willing to be based in, Manila
