Qualifications

• Experience with project budgeting and cost analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Project Budget and Cost to Complete.
• Conducts budget analysis of materials and subcontracts prior to purchasing or awarding.
• Collects and compiles progress and cost data, develops cost-control worksheets and reports.
• Reviews financial data related to accruals, invoices, purchase orders and material deliveries.
• Controls and monitors project expenditures, verifying invoices and claims from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitors project activity schedule and monitoring.
• Prepares Monthly Cost Reports and performs cost reconciliations with accounting.
• Coordinates annual spend projections and variance analyses.
• Willing to be assigned in Mandaluyong City.

Job description

The Cost Control Engineer will play a key role in delivering site budget, cost-control services and financial report for the assigned projects.

Job Description:

1. Prepares Project Budget, and Cost to Complete.
2. Conducts budget analysis of Material and Subcon prior or Purchasing or Awarding.
3. Collects and compiles progress and cost data, develops cost-control worksheets and reports.
4. Reviews financial data related to accruals, invoice payments, purchase orders and material deliveries and other financial data.
5. Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project’s expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
6. Monitors project activity schedule and monitoring.
7. Monitors actual cost against the approved budget through preparation of Monthly Cost Report.
8. Responsible for cost reconciliation to accounting department.
9. Implements and monitors costs within each project stage and for entire project until completion or close-out.
10. Coordinates and develops project annual-spend projections, cost reconciliation and variance analyses.
11. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
