Holcim Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Cost Analyst to analyze and report cost-related data to support decision-making and cost control across the organization.
ERP systems experience is preferred and will be used to drive accuracy in cost allocations. This role focuses on identifying cost drivers, monitoring variances, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring accurate allocation of costs to products, services, and departments.
The Cost Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting cost-related data to support effective decision-making and cost control within the organization. This role focuses on identifying cost drivers, monitoring variances, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring accurate allocation of costs to products, services, and departments. The Cost Analyst works closely with operations, finance, and procurement teams to provide insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive analysis and reporting of manufacturing costs to identify variances, cost drivers, and trends, while supporting management with actionable insights and maintaining robust cost accounting systems.
Supports the development, monitoring, and variance analysis of production-related budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with financial plans and operational goals.
Collaborates cross-functionally to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, evaluate operational efficiency, and conduct cost-benefit analyses for process improvements and capital investments.
Analyzes inventory costs and usage, supports physical inventory processes, and assists in the management and reconciliation of capital assets and depreciation.
Ensures adherence to financial regulations and internal policies, while supporting internal and external audits related to cost accounting activities.
Leverages ERP systems and financial tools to manage cost data, develop financial models, and generate reports that support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Preferably a licensed CPA or CMA
Must have 3–5 years experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, ideally in a manufacturing or heavy industry.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
