Job summary

De Heus Philippines Inc. is seeking a Paralegal to join the legal team on a full-time basis at our Ortigas office in Pasig City, Metro Manila. You will support corporate matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents.

Ideal candidates have a law degree or paralegal certification and at least 3 years of experience. Strong research, communication, and confidentiality are essential in a dynamic, professional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law or paralegal certification.
• At least 3 years of paralegal or similar experience.
• Knowledge of corporate and commercial law and contract drafting.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist lawyer with preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to corporate and commercial matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate law issues, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions.
• Draft correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents under supervision of qualified professionals.
• Maintain and organize legal files and documents in line with procedures.
• Support preparation of contracts, service agreements, and other instruments for business operations.
• Assist with due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and compliance deadlines to ensure legal parameters are met.
• Liaise with external counsel, government agencies, and internal stakeholders as required.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team including scheduling and record keeping.
• Undertake legal compliance tasks and maintain records of governance matters.
