Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as a key legal adviser to the business, helping OneLot make sound commercial decisions while managing legal risks and protecting the Company’s interests.

Manage legal documentation for secured transactions, including chattel mortgages and the registration and perfection of security interests.
Review agreements with dealers, business partners, vendors, and service providers to protect the Company’s interests.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Advise on compliance with SEC regulations applicable to financing companies, consumer protection requirements, fair debt collection practices, data privacy, and anti-money laundering laws.
Review business processes, policies, and practices to identify legal risks and recommend appropriate safeguards.
Monitor regulatory developments and help ensure the Company’s continuing compliance with applicable laws and reporting requirements.

Support corporate governance, including board resolutions, corporate records, licenses, permits, and regulatory filings.
Advise the People team on labor and employment matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, employee discipline, termination, and DOLE compliance.
Work closely with Credit, Collections, Sales, Finance, Product, and People teams to provide practical legal guidance on day-to-day business decisions.
Licensed Philippine lawyer and member of the Philippine Bar in good standing.
2-5 years of relevant legal practice, with hands‑on experience in litigation, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated experience preparing pleadings, managing cases, and appearing before courts or administrative bodies.
Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial or finance-related agreements.
Working knowledge of Philippine corporate and commercial laws, secured transactions, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Ability to independently manage legal matters, assess risks, and provide clear, practical recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino, with sound judgment and discretion.
An Advantage If You Have:
Experience as in-house legal counsel or in a law firm handling banking, lending, financing, or fintech clients.
Exposure to SEC financing company regulations, debt recovery, secured lending, or collection‑related litigation.
Experience handling labor disputes, corporate governance, or regulatory compliance matters.
At OneLot, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with business leaders and make a meaningful contribution to how the Company operates.
You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of legal matters, from commercial transactions and litigation to regulatory compliance and corporate decision‑making. More importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of legal work and see how your recommendations translate into actual business decisions.
