Job summary

IQ BackOffice, Inc. seeks a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead corporate accounting across its properties and legal entities. This hands-on role owns close and reporting processes, reviews balance sheet reconciliations, and supervises accounting staff in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will coordinate with property finance teams and external auditors, apply US GAAP, strengthen controls, and drive improvements in ERP workflows and consolidation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years supervising staff.
• Experience in a large hospitality organization with multiple entities.
• Ownership of financial close, intercompany accounting, consolidations, and audit support.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and internal control mindset.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with calendars and ownership.
• Oversee corporate general ledger including accruals, fixed assets, and payroll liabilities.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and rollforwards with support.
• Coordinate intercompany billing, allocations, and eliminations.
• Explain financial results by account and entity to leadership.
• Collaborate with property accounting, operations, and auditors.
• Apply US GAAP and maintain consistent practices; drive control improvements.
• Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with shared services or outsourcing.
• Improve close procedures, ownership, ERP workflows, and reconciliation standards.
