Job summary

Flexible Packaging Products Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented printing/quality technician to ensure that quality objectives for the Printing Section are achieved and sustained. Your role includes monitoring daily production output and waste, performing random inspections, and enforcing SOPs with corrective actions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and ensures Printing Section quality objectives are met with action plans.
• Monitors daily output and waste; reviews KPIs weekly for corrective actions.
• Performs random line inspections for conformance to specs, SOPs and parameters.
• Checks roll-to-roll samples for printability and color accuracy to standards.
• Matches colors using standard methods or spectrophotometer when needed.
• Prepares and follows Preventive Maintenance schedules.
• Maintains machine history in real time for traceability.

Job description

>Reviews, monitors and provides action plan/s to ensure that set Quality Objectives for Printing Section is achieved

>Monitors daily production output & waste percentage and ensure both are within specified targets. Reviews target on a weekly basis in order to ensure that KPIs are within control and provide necessary corrective action if needed.

>Random line inspection in order to check conformance of output to specification, conformance of operators to SOPs and conformance to set machine parameters

>Checks roll to roll samples for printability and colors with designated ink type to match standard colors following formulas and LSD.

>Randomly Matches color using conventional color matching or thru the use of spectrophotometer

>Prepares, monitors and ensure adherence to Preventive Maintenance schedule

>Responsible on machine history. Ensures that all Machine History are properly recorded in real time for traceability and analysis

Requirements

• College Graduate, preferably Engineering Course or a Two-Year Technical Course Graduate or College level with equivalent work experience
• With a printing background and knowledge of converting operations
