A leading manufacturer of plastic products in Bulacan is seeking a Printing Operator to set up, operate, and maintain printing machines for decorating rigid plastic containers. The ideal candidate should have a high school education and experience in plastic manufacturing. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality print output, troubleshooting machine issues, and performing routine maintenance. This is a full-time, on-site role with shifting schedules.

Qualifications

  • At least High School or Vocational Graduate; Technical courses related to printing are an advantage.
  • Experience as a Printing Operator in plastic manufacturing or related industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of different printing methods (pad printing, screen printing, offset, hot stamping).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor printing machines used for rigid plastic containers.
  • Prepare materials according to job specifications.
  • Ensure accurate alignment, color matching, and proper adhesion of prints on containers.

Job Description

The Printing Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing machines used in decorating or labeling rigid plastic containers. The role ensures high-quality print output that meets customer and company standards while maintaining efficiency, safety, and productivity in the workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor printing machines (e.g., pad printing, screen printing, hot stamping, offset printing) used for rigid plastic containers.
  • Prepare materials such as inks, plates, stencils, and fixtures according to job specifications.
  • Ensure accurate alignment, color matching, and proper adhesion of prints on containers.
  • Conduct quality checks during and after printing to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
  • Troubleshoot printing defects such as smudges, misprints, color inconsistencies, or machine stoppages.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs of printing machines.
  • Record production output, rejects, downtime, and material usage.
  • Follow company safety policies, housekeeping practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance team regarding issues or improvements.
