1. Responsible for loading printing plates, adjusting ink levels, setting paper feed, and aligning registration on the press according to job specifications.

2. Continuously monitoring printed materials for color accuracy, consistency, and defects, making adjustments as needed.

3. Starting and stopping the press, managing production speeds, and ensuring smooth operation throughout the printing run.

4. Identifying and resolving any issues that may occur during printing, such as paper jams, ink imbalances, or registration problems.

5. Performing routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on the press, including ink system cleaning and lubrication.

6. Reading and understanding job orders to ensure accurate printing specifications are followed.

7. Loading and unloading paper stock, ink, and other printing supplies.

8. Collaborating with other team members like prepress operators and quality control personnel to ensure smooth workflow.

• Machine knowledge: With experience operating Heidelberg SM102-4 1997 Model.
• Technical knowledge: Thorough understanding of offset printing principles, press mechanics, and color management.
