Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract logistics, warehouse solutions, logistics pricing, warehouse planning, industrial engineering, supply chain solutions, or business development support.
• 5+ years of experience in contract logistics solutions, pricing, or warehouse planning will be prioritized.
• Working knowledge of contract logistics, warehousing, trucking, and 3PL operations.
• Experience in warehouse setup, facility planning, infrastructure coordination, or vendor coordination is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including costing, financial modeling, data analysis, and profitability analysis.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar warehouse layout/design tools is strongly preferred.
• Able to convert client and operational requirements into accurate pricing models and practical warehouse solutions.
• Strong proposal preparation, reporting, presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple proposals, deadlines, and coordination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pricing and Cost Modeling: Prepare pricing proposals for warehousing, trucking, and contract logistics services.
• Create Excel-based cost simulations, rate structures, capacity calculations, and profit-and-loss analysis.
• Assess the profitability and commercial viability of potential contract logistics accounts.
• Maintain pricing templates, costing sheets, vendor rates, and proposal formats.
• Prepare pricing documents and supporting requirements for client bids and tenders.
• Warehouse Solutions and Layout Planning: Prepare and improve warehouse layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Analyze space utilization, storage capacity, racking configuration, cross-docking flow, and picking paths.
• Translate client requirements into warehouse layouts, capacity plans, and infrastructure requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure proposed warehouse solutions are practical and executable.
• Recommend improvements to warehouse flow, capacity, and operational efficiency.
• Vendor and Facility Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse owners, property brokers, real estate providers, and infrastructure vendors.
• Identify and assess potential warehouse facilities based on client and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers of material handling equipment such as forklifts, racking systems, pallets, and warehouse infrastructure.
• Gather market information on warehouse rental rates, facility availability, vendor pricing, and technical specifications.
• Support vendor negotiations and monitor quotation, delivery, and coordination timelines.
• Business Development and Project Support: Support the Business Development Manager in preparing customized contract logistics solutions and proposals.
• Assist Operations during warehouse setup and initial project implementation.
• Coordinate documentation and applicable requirements for facility setup.
• Prepare progress reports covering pricing, layout development, bids, vendor coordination, and project support.
• Work with Business Development, Operations, Finance, and external vendors to align commercial proposals with actual operations.

Key Responsibilities
