Job Description

• Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and data architectures.
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data issues, providing solutions to address business questions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Build processes supporting data transformation, metadata management, dependency management, and workload orchestration.
• Collaborate with product teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and alignment with business requirements.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to develop solutions that manage large, complex datasets.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or Data Operations role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines, data workflows and data architectures.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, particularly AWS services such as Redshift, EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Familiarity with data integration tools such as AWS Glue, Informatica, and Talend.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, etc. for data engineering tasks.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently and in teams.
• Strong focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of data processes
• Willing to work onsite (4x a week onsite, once a week remote) from our client\'s office in Pasay on a day shift under an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.
• Willing to start work immediately.
