Job summary

Arch Global Services (Philippines) Inc. seeks a data engineering professional to manage data ingestion, governance and scalable ETL pipelines. You will design cloud-based solutions and collaborate with vendors to streamline data from top sources while ensuring quality and traceability.

Ideal candidates have strong Python/SQL skills, experience with Azure services and modern data platforms, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset suited to our Risk and Quantitative team.

Qualifications

• Familiar with script coding in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Azure Services, Azure Blob Storage, Snowflake and Databricks is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills; able to work on own initiative and follow instructions.
• Comfortable tracing data flow and troubleshooting under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Innovative Solutions: Design and implement cutting-edge data engineering solutions across Cloud, DevOps, and Data Engineering.
• Data Stewardship: Own data managed in-house from major vendors and external sources.
• Collaborative Onboarding: Partner with business units and IT to onboard new data sources.
• Process Enhancement: Develop and refine data ingestion with governance and control.
• Architectural Design: Design data storage and ETL processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work with AIM's GSO partner on data ingestion tasks.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes.
• Quality Assurance: Create and execute test plans for data pipelines and systems.
