Job summary

Asurion is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to implement programs that enhance process improvement within their supply chain operations. You will lead performance initiatives and train teams on CI tools.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or a service industry, strong skills in Lean methodologies, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Lean Six Sigma certification is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a consumer electronics manufacturing setup or service industry.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.

Role Overview

The Continuous Improvement Engineer plays a vital role in enabling the successful implementation of programs and projects that drive change, enhance process improvement, and support continuous transformation within Asurion TCP’s supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance improvement initiatives across the business.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma culture and problem‑solving mindset.
• Train and coach teams on CI tools and methodologies.
• Share best practices and manage CI maturity framework.
• Provide leadership on organizational initiatives.
• Lead and support cross‑functional projects.
• Partner with Finance to track project financial impact.
• Review projects to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to challenge and improve processes.
• Promote behavioral and operational change.

Required Technical Skills

• Lean methods including 5S, SMED, and Kanban.
• Six Sigma problem solving and DMAIC.
• Process mapping and root cause analysis.
• Statistical analysis using Excel or Minitab.
• Data visualization and KPI dashboards.
• Structured experimentation and DOE basics.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a consumer electronics manufacturing setup (Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent) or in a service industry as a training specialist or similar role.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Experience in regulated environments.
• Multi‑site improvement deployment experience.

Licenses/Certifications

• Lean practitioner or equivalent training.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Preferred Licenses/Certifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• May lead project teams and kaizen cohorts.
• No direct hire authority expected.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 20% of time; overnight travel occasional as project needs dictate.
