Job summary

David Kennedy Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing AI technology company to recruit a Content Moderator for their Trust & Safety team. The role involves daily review of adult content, so you must be comfortable with explicit material and support international moderation coverage.

Based remotely in the Philippines, you will review and classify user content, enforce policies, escalate complex cases, and collaborate with senior moderators and compliance professionals to improve safety

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience moderating user-generated content for an online platform.
• Strong understanding of content moderation guidelines, policy enforcement and escalation procedures.
• Experience working with high-volume moderation queues.
• Excellent English comprehension, including slang, context, nuance and intent.
• Proven ability to make sound, independent decisions on complex or borderline content.
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
• Clear documentation and communication skills.
• Complete comfort with daily exposure to explicit adult content.
• Availability to support required international moderation coverage.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve or reject user-generated content, including images, videos and text, in line with platform policies
• Identify inappropriate, prohibited or potentially harmful material
• Apply moderation guidelines consistently, including when handling ambiguous or borderline content
• Document moderation decisions accurately and escalate complex cases
• Investigate content flagged by automated detection systems
• Review internal AI-generated content, AI characters, datasets and workflows for safety and compliance
• Categorise and tag content to maintain appropriate platform visibility
• Maintain high accuracy, consistency and productivity across substantial moderation volumes
• Collaborate with senior moderators and the Legal & Safety team to improve workflows and enforcement standards
