Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking a Content Moderator to protect online communities in the digital platform industry. This full-time, onsite role at Ortigas offers rotating shifts, strong teamwork, and opportunities to grow with global teams.

You will review text, images, and videos for guideline compliance, support users, and help improve data quality for machine learning. Fresh graduates are welcome; a Senior High School diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of relevant experience; no prior experience required
• At least a Senior High School diploma; entry-level candidates and fresh graduates welcome
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions based on established guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Willingness to work onsite in Ortigas
• Availability to work a shifting schedule based on business requirements
• Ability to perform repetitive content review tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review user-generated content to ensure guidelines.
• Identify content and potential risks that may violate policies.
• Respond to reports of inappropriate or offensive content and flag/remove content according to guidelines.
• Provide clear, constructive responses to customers regarding flagged content.
• Organize and label data to support ML model training.
• Maintain accurate records of content reviews and moderation actions.
• Provide feedback to improve moderation processes and policies.

Your Daily Tasks

Content Review and Moderation

• Monitor and review user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, to ensure compliance with the client's guidelines.
• Identify content and potential risks that may violate policies, procedures, or community guidelines.
• Respond to reports of inappropriate or offensive content and flag or remove content according to established guidelines.

Customer Support

• Provide clear, constructive responses to customers regarding flagged or removed content, explaining the reasons for moderation decisions.

Machine Learning

• Organize and label data to support machine learning model training using high-quality examples.
• Maintain accurate records of content reviews, including the reasons for moderation actions.

Process Improvement

• Provide feedback on moderation processes to improve review techniques and refine policies and procedures.
