Job summary

Go Deep Freediving is seeking a Content Designer & Photographer to join our Panglao-based content team. The role blends graphic design, photography, and visual storytelling across multiple Apnea Dynamics projects, including Freedive Academy Panglao, Panglao Watersport & Tours, and Mermaid Studio.

Qualifications

• Experience in graphic design and photography or a related creative field.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Portfolio demonstrating previous design and photography work.
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the Philippines; Filipino applicants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design social media graphics, carousels, promotional content, and campaign creatives.
• Create visual content for Instagram, Facebook, websites, advertising, email marketing, and other digital platforms.

Job Overview

Apnea Dynamics is looking for a creative and versatile Content Designer & Photographer to join our content team full-time in Panglao, Bohol.

This role combines graphic design, photography, and visual content creation across Freedive Academy Panglao, Go Deep Freediving, Panglao Watersport & Tours, Mermaid Studio, and other Apnea Dynamics projects.

You will be responsible for transforming ideas, photography, and existing brand assets into polished visual content for social media, websites, advertising campaigns, promotions, and other digital and printed materials.

Alongside design work, you will capture high-quality above-water photography of our people, customers, activities, facilities, products, events, and island lifestyle.

We are looking for someone with a strong eye for visuals who understands composition, typography, branding, photography, and modern social media design.

This is not simply a graphic design position. We want a content-focused designer who understands why a piece of content is being created, who it is intended for, and how design and photography can help communicate a message, tell a story, or generate interest in our brands.

Responsibilities

• Design social media graphics, carousels, promotional content, and campaign creatives
• Create visual content for Instagram, Facebook, websites, advertising, email marketing, and other digital platforms
• Produce graphics for promotions, courses, tours, events, products, and company announcements
• Create thumbnails, covers, banners, and other supporting visual assets
• Capture high-quality above-water photography across Apnea Dynamics brands
• Photograph customers, instructors, staff, activities, facilities, products, events, and lifestyle content
• Plan and execute dedicated photography shoots when required
• Edit, retouch, color-correct, and prepare photographs for publication
• Transform photography and existing media assets into engaging designed content
• Work within established brand identities while developing fresh and creative visual concepts
• Maintain consistency in typography, layouts, imagery, and overall visual presentation
• Work closely with the wider content and marketing team on campaigns and content calendars
• Collaborate with the Underwater Content Creator and Short-Form Video Producer & Editor to develop coordinated content
• Create print materials such as posters, flyers, signage, menus, brochures, and other promotional materials when required
• Prepare appropriately sized and optimized assets for different digital and print applications
• Help develop templates and reusable design systems that improve content production efficiency
• Organize and maintain photography, design files, templates, and brand assets
• Stay current with graphic design, photography, social media, and visual content trends
• Use AI-assisted creative tools where they improve the content production workflow
• Represent Apnea Dynamics and its brands professionally at all times

Requirements

• Experience in graphic design, visual content creation, photography, or a related creative field
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with Canva and modern digital design workflows
• Experience with Adobe Lightroom or similar photography editing software
• Good photography skills and understanding of camera operation
• Strong understanding of composition, typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to create engaging social media graphics and carousel content
• Good understanding of modern social media design and content formats
• Ability to photograph people naturally and comfortably in tourism, lifestyle, and working environments
• Strong photo selection, editing, retouching, and color-correction skills
• Ability to work within multiple established brand identities
• Creative mindset with the ability to turn concepts and information into compelling visual content
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines
• Strong organizational and digital asset-management skills
• Comfortable receiving creative direction and feedback
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the wider content and marketing team
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or similar design applications is an advantage
• Basic video editing or motion graphics skills are an advantage
• Experience with AI-assisted design and creative tools is an advantage
• Interest in tourism, freediving, watersports, travel, and ocean lifestyle content is highly preferred
• Portfolio demonstrating previous design and photography work is required

Location
