Job summary

Freedive Academy Panglao seeks an experienced AIDA Master Instructor to lead high-quality freediving training on Panglao Island, collaborating with an international student base while upholding rigorous safety standards.

You will teach AIDA courses, supervise training sessions, and contribute to a growing instructional team committed to professional excellence and student progression.

Qualifications

• AIDA Master Instructor certification is required.
• Strong freediving knowledge and teaching ability.
• Excellent safety awareness and professional judgment.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented personality.
• Open to applicants of any nationality; eligible to work in the Philippines or visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach AIDA freediving courses according to agency standards.
• Conduct confined water and open water training sessions.
• Ensure high safety standards during all training activities.
• Guide and support students throughout their freediving progression.
• Assist with student scheduling, course coordination, and equipment preparation.
• Provide professional and encouraging instruction to students of varying experience levels.
• Maintain accurate training records and certifications.
• Support daily dive operations and assist the instructional team when needed.
• Help maintain equipment, training areas, and operational cleanliness.
• Represent Freedive Academy Panglao and Apnea Dynamics professionally at all times.

Job Overview

Apnea Dynamics is looking for experienced and passionate AIDA Master Instructor to join our growing freediving team in Panglao, Bohol.

This is a professional freediving instructor position focused on delivering high-quality training, maintaining strong safety standards, and creating exceptional experiences for students from around the world.

As part of our instructional team, you will teach AIDA freediving courses, assist with training operations, guide students through their progression, and help represent the professional standards of Freedive Academy Panglao and Apnea Dynamics.

We are looking for individuals who are safety-focused, professional, reliable, and passionate about teaching freediving in a positive and team-oriented environment.

This role is ideal for instructors who enjoy working with international students, contributing to a growing organization, and building a long-term career in the freediving industry.

Requirements

• Current AIDA Master Instructor certification
• Strong freediving knowledge and teaching ability

• Comfortable teaching international students from different backgrounds
• Ability to work in a physically active ocean-based environment
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills
• Previous teaching experience is highly preferred
• Additional certifications or multilingual ability are an advantage
• Open to applicants of any nationality
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the Philippines, or eligible to obtain the necessary work permits and visa sponsorship provided by Apnea Dynamics for successful international candidates
