Job summary

JTI is seeking a Consumer & Trade Activations Supervisor to lead end-to-end activations in the DRC market. Reporting to the Consumer & Trade Activations Manager, you will apply strong analytics and a consumer-centric mindset to identify opportunities that drive consumer acquisition, trade performance and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market, consumer, brand and channel trends and gather field insights to identify opportunities for activations in DRC.
• Collaborate with Sales to translate marketing strategies into in-field executions from concept to implementation.
• Monitor investment performance against KPIs and propose improvements for activations.
• Manage the marketing budget per project with ownership and integrity.
• Ensure process compliance and reporting to the Activations Manager.
• Foster collaboration across departments to deliver optimal results for JTI.

What this position is about - Purpose

Reporting to the Consumer & Trade Activations Manager, the Consumer & Trade Activations Associate demonstrates a high level of accountability, seamlessly managing projects end-to-end to deliver Execution Excellence across all consumer and trade facing activations in DRC. The incumbent applies their strong analytical skills as well as in-depth knowledge of the trade landscape, as well as their consumer-centric mindset to identify new opportunities to drive consumer acquisition, trade performance and partnerships. The incumbent is a strong team player with a high degree of integrity, who is eager to learn and collaborate without limits to contribute to the achievement of JTI's business objectives in DRC.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Analyze market, consumer, brand and channel trends as well as gather insights from the field to identify opportunities and shape recommendations for both consumer and trade activations in DRC, in close collaboration with Sales counterparts, for alignment with M&S leadership.
• Work together with Sales counterparts to translate Marketing & Sales strategies into in-field execution, managing projects with a high degree of ownership and accountability, from conceptualization through to implementation, ensuring Execution Excellence across all touchpoints.
• Continuously monitor investment performance based on pre-defined objectives and KPIs and translate learnings into proposals for improved activations/promotions.
• Manage the allocated marketing budget per project with a high degree of ownership and integrity.
• Ensure process compliance and reporting to Consumer & Trade Activations Manager.
• Drive strong collaboration with counterparts from other departments, demonstrating a ONE TEAM spirit and joint ownership in delivering the best possible results for JTI.
