We are seeking a Senior Manager – Senior Assistant Vice President to lead the Consumer Collections MIS, Systems, Strategy and Analytics team in Taguig. The role focuses on developing and implementing collections strategies across the customer lifecycle and driving portfolio performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Banking and Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or any related field.
• Proven experience in Collections, Credit Risk, or Consumer Lending, with knowledge of consumer credit lifecycle and products.
• Solid understanding of banking practices, regulatory requirements, BSP guidelines, and risk management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in data analytics, data preparation, project management, and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on experience with SAS and Python to support reporting and decision-making.
• Familiarity with fraud detection concepts, accounting principles, and financial analysis is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Collections Strategists supporting Consumer Lending products with coaching and performance management.
• Design and optimize collections strategies across the customer lifecycle using analytics and performance monitoring.
• Oversee strategic initiatives from planning through execution with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Analyze portfolio trends and operational metrics to provide data-driven staffing and process recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement and governance of strategy documentation and controls.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, audit directives, and risk management standards.

What the role will entail

• Lead and develop a team of Collections Strategists supporting Consumer Lending products, providing coaching, performance management, succession planning, and resource oversight to drive a high-performing and engaged team.
• Design, implement, and optimize collections strategies across the customer lifecycle, leveraging champion-challenger methodologies, analytics, and performance monitoring to improve portfolio results and agency effectiveness.
• Oversee strategic initiatives from planning through execution, collaborating with business leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and enhance collections performance.
• Analyze portfolio trends, capacity requirements, operational metrics, and business performance to provide data-driven recommendations on staffing, processes, policies, and collection strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across collections operations, ensuring customer-centric practices, process efficiency, and effective governance of strategy documentation and controls.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, audit directives, and risk management standards while supporting the timely implementation of corrective actions and business controls.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Banking amd Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or any related field.
• Proven experience in Collections, Credit Risk, or Consumer Lending, with strong knowledge of the consumer credit lifecycle and products such as credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, and mortgages.
• Solid understanding of banking practices, regulatory requirements, BSP guidelines, and risk management principles relevant to consumer lending.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend effective business strategies and policy enhancements.
• Proficiency in data analytics, data preparation, project management, and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on experience with analytical and programming tools such as SAS and Python to support reporting, strategy development, and decision-making.
• Familiarity with fraud detection concepts, accounting principles, and financial analysis is an advantage.
