Finovista is seeking a self-starter to support its strategy and growth agenda by identifying collaboration opportunities, building institutional relationships, and developing partnership documentation.

You will work with senior leadership across multiple workstreams, taking ownership from research and opportunity identification through to coordination, documentation and follow-up. The role involves MoUs, ToRs and case studies, with a hybrid in-office arrangement for a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in strategy, partnerships, business development, research or related field.
  • Experience in partnership development or institutional engagement is advantageous.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Identify corporate partnership opportunities and strategic collaborations aligned with Finovista’s priorities.
  • Research prospective partners and develop structured partnership pipelines.
  • Draft and review MoUs, partnership agreements and ToRs; prepare notes and briefs.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure timely delivery of partnership deliverables; track ToRs, RFPs and tenders.
  • Develop impact reports and case studies from stakeholder interviews; support award applications.

You will support Finovista’s strategy and growth agenda by identifying collaboration opportunities, building and managing institutional relationships, conducting strategic research, developing partnership documentation and supporting new programmes and business opportunities.You will work closely with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders across parallel workstreams, taking ownership from research and opportunity identification through to coordination, documentation and follow-up.

The Role

You will support Finovista’s strategy and growth agenda by identifying collaboration opportunities, building and managing institutional relationships, conducting strategic research, developing partnership documentation and supporting new programmes and business opportunities.

You will work closely with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders across parallel workstreams, taking ownership from research and opportunity identification through to coordination, documentation and follow-up.

What You Will Own
Build Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify suitable corporate partnership opportunities and strategic collaborations aligned with Finovista’s priorities.
  • Research prospective partners and develop structured partnership pipelines.
  • Identify relevant international universities, multilateral agencies, development funds, foundations, corporations and other institutions.
  • Set up and coordinate meetings with prospective partners and institutional stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, follow-ups and relationship documentation.
  • Maintain structured records of partnerships, discussions, action points and next steps.
Develop Partnership Documentation
  • Develop MoUs, partnership agreements, Terms of Reference (ToRs) and other partnership-related documents.
  • Draft and review documentation for corporate partnerships and institutional alliances.
  • Prepare meeting notes, concept notes, partnership briefs and other strategic materials.
  • Ensure partnership information, commitments and action points are systematically tracked.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure timely completion of partnership deliverables.
  • Track and analyse ToRs, RFPs, calls for proposals, tenders and other business opportunities.
  • Research emerging opportunities across development, innovation, finance, sustainability and related sectors.
  • Assess opportunities against Finovista’s capabilities, experience and strategic priorities.
  • Prepare concise opportunity notes, research briefs and recommendations for Senior Management.
  • Identify potential partners and collaborators for new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of potential opportunities.
Strategic Research & Insights
  • Conduct research on organisations, institutions, markets, sectors and potential partners.
  • Analyse policy, funding and programme developments relevant to Finovista’s work.
  • Prepare research inputs for business development, programme design and strategic decision-making.
  • Convert complex information into clear, concise and actionable insights.
  • Support the Founder and Senior Leadership with background research and strategic briefs.
Build Impact & Brand Assets
  • Develop impact reports highlighting programme outcomes, learnings and value creation.
  • Develop compelling case studies through customer and stakeholder interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews and information gathering for case-study development.
  • Support business award applications through research, drafting, data collation and submissions.
  • Maintain and regularly update Finovista’s organisational profile, capability documents and credentials.
  • Capture new projects, partnerships, achievements and impact stories for external communication.
Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a self-starter who can work with minimum guidance and is comfortable operating across strategy, partnerships, research and programme-related assignments.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong execution, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in strategy, partnerships, business development, consulting, research, development sector or a related field.
  • Experience in partnership development, institutional engagement or business development will be an advantage.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong experience in preparing professional documents, presentations, briefs and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and parallel workstreams.
  • Strong follow-up, coordination and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, International Relations, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional experience and demonstrated capability may be considered alongside formal qualifications.
