Job summary

The role requires 2–3 years in construction safety, COSH training, and strong report writing and interpersonal skills to enforce safety measures and coordinate with foremen and heads on hazard mitigation.

Qualifications

• Must have completed COSH training as required by DOLE.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in construction safety; golf course or civil works is an advantage.
• Familiar with DOLE and OSH standards and guidelines.
• Proficient in report writing, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude towards safety enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of the Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP).
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
• Support daily toolbox meetings and site safety orientations.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE among workers.
• Assist in investigating and documenting incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
• Coordinate with foremen and section heads to implement safety controls and hazard mitigation plans.
• Maintain records of safety violations, observations, and incident reports.
• Participate in emergency drills and help facilitate training sessions.
• Submit daily and weekly safety monitoring reports to the Safety Manager.
• Ensure that safety signages and barricades are properly installed and maintained on-site.
