Job summary

Kareila Management Corporation (S&R Membership Shopping) is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring plans comply with design and regulatory standards.

The role requires 5 years in construction management, CCM/PMP certification, and experience with LEED practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in construction management delivering projects on time and within budget.
Experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
Professional certification in construction management (e.g., CCM, PMP).
Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification.
Willing to report at Paranaque office.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee the work of all project participants, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and report on project financial performance, including cost variances and potential overruns.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds specified standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Address and resolve any construction-related issues or disputes that arise during the project.
Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned with project goals.
Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project progress, including key milestones, risks, and issues.
Develop and enforce a site-specific safety plan, ensuring that all workers comply with safety regulations and best practices.
Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents that occur on-site.
Oversee the completion of all project punch-list items, ensuring that all work is finished to the client’s satisfaction.
Manage the project closeout process, including final inspections, documentation, and handover to the client.
Ensure that all necessary permits, warranties, and as-built drawings are obtained and provided to the client.
May be assigned additional duties as directed by the Superior.
